Lead and develop a sales team to grow managed accounts for Bentley's AEC solutions.

Tasks

-Help team members overcome internal and external obstacles to building pipeline and closing business. -Collaborate with marketing and product management to design and execute sales campaigns. -Ensure team members can effectively promote our value proposition to designers, engineers, architects, contractors and owners. -This role requires communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions. -Partner with HR and Sales Operations on recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, and development initiatives for your team. -Conduct weekly one-on-one pipeline review meetings and provide accurate sales and revenue forecasts. -Set and track individual sales targets and goals with the team. -Oversee business planning for managed accounts to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities and expand use of Bentley technologies. -Coach team members on the Bentley Sales Process to ensure effective qualification, advancement, forecasting, and closing of opportunities. -Lead and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets. -Coach team members negotiate sales and/or service agreements. -Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all Commercial Offerings and Software Support Policies. -Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services.

What You Bring

-50% or less travel. -Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). -Collaborative nature and relationship-building skills. -Accountability and ownership of team performance and results. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics and provide feedback in various formats. -5+ years’ outside sales experience in the AEC industry; 2+ years of sales management experience. -Demonstrated ability to set expectations, coach, and manage to performance standards. -This is a full-time role, expected to work 40 hours per week. -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, business, business administration, or equivalent. -Experience with Salesforce preferred.
