The Role

Overview

Manage financial and operational aspects of a diverse private investment portfolio.

Tasks

-Support annual budgets, capital planning, and audit processes. -Ensure all assets meet regulatory, insurance, and safety requirements. -Partner with accountants, auditors, and legal advisors as needed. -Oversee AR/AP, vendor invoicing, and monthly reconciliations. -Ensure accuracy, compliance, and clear financial reporting for leadership. -Provide clear and timely updates to ownership and leadership. -Oversee daily operations of commercial and residential properties, both owner-occupied and leased. -Manage day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities. -Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality. -Maintain accurate records of leases, contracts, insurance, taxes, and compliance. -Lead capital projects from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. -Prepare cash flow reports, operating summaries, and variance analyses to inform decision-making.

What You Bring

-Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and build trusted relationships with stakeholders. -Enjoy variety in your work—from financial stewardship to ensuring a yacht is ready for its next charter. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; QuickBooks or similar accounting/property management software preferred. -5+ years of experience in asset, property, or financial management (private office or high-net-worth experience a plus). -Proven success in financial reporting and property operations to strengthen portfolio oversight. -Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional discretion, integrity, and professionalism. -Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities. -Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred. Significant relevant experience may be considered as a substitute for formal education.
