Overview

Lead technical design and project delivery for complex mixed-use, residential, hospitality and other large‑scale projects

Tasks

-Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants -Assure a collaborative and integrated approach towards working with other disciplines in the studio -Ensure design excellence in all aspects of projects across the studio -Lead and track the QA/QC process for multiple projects at various incremental stages of project delivery with attention to design, life safety and constructability -Advance the understanding of design resilience as a responsibility for all team members -Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials -Advocate for design quality and execution of all projects -Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges

What You Bring

-Licensed or registered architect -For consideration, candidate MUST submit work samples along with resume. -Demonstrated ability to communicate code implications to fellow staff at all levels of development. -Well versed in maintaining project manual and specifications -Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with construction contractors and subcontractors. -Proven ability to work with and oversee multiple projects and teams concurrently -15+ years of project experience in an architectural practice -Expert knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and green building strategies. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture -Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required. Portfolios should include at least 1 project with this particular focus, and candidates should be prepared to talk to this in their interview, especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certification. -LEED accreditation required – preferred -Experience with Revit, Rhino, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office
