  • Keep the project contractors, stakeholders and other relevant parties informed of the timing and nature of any proposed or planned works.
  • Monitor, manage and coordinate the integration of the works carried out by different stakeholders and project contractors.
  • Work closely with the integrated project management team to plan and coordinate construction activities across the airport site and develop management and mitigation strategies for identified interface issues.
  • Develop, implement and manage a process to ensure the project contractors and stakeholders provide the information required for the project management team to manage the interfaces.
  • Plan, program and manage the delivery of interface works within budgets.
  • Works with stakeholders and project contractors to prevent interference, damage or delay to the works being carried out by another stakeholder, project contractor or Perth Airport.
  • Oversee the management of key construction interfaces amongst project contractors or other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the use of parts of the airport site including the shared use of construction access through work airport sites, manage and ensure stakeholders and project contractors’ obligations to maintain airport site security.
  • Provide clear delineation of the responsibilities of relevant stakeholders and project contractors in relation to each identified interface issue and detail the data to be communicated by each party consistent the contractual obligations of such parties.
  • Identify actual or potential interface issues between relevant parties for the works identified and record them in the Interface Issues Register.
  • Ensure relevant stakeholders and project contractor's schedules address and include allowance for work, activities and interfaces between the project contractors, interface contractors and stakeholders.

  • Previous experience in planning approval processes dealing with public bodies an advantage.
  • Skill in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups. Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
  • Typically requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in the use of applicable computer programs, including PowerBi and BIM environments required.
  • Previous experience managing construction and planning interfaces preferred.
  • Ability to influence and engage in a collaborative working environment with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining necessary levels of commercial awareness.
