Entry-level estimator handling cost estimates, proposals, and customer service.

Tasks
-Organizes and manages centralized cost estimating models to ensure current and strategic pricing data is used during proposal development. -Develop a good working relationship with field supervisors and technicians, learning their abilities and skill levels. -Responsible for determining competitive and accurate estimates to achieve margin and financial targets. -Works closely with Lead Service Estimator to determine budgeting and strategic goals for estimating activities and business development opportunities. -Call vendors for pricing and availability on parts for service/repair estimates. -Field customer calls requesting service or maintenance work and providing or arranging any necessary follow-up calls. -Perform additional assignments per manager’s direction -Deliver and maintain the highest level of Customer Service -Other tasks as assigned. -Interfaces with service technicians to insure that projects are delivered per estimates and consistently refining the estimating formulas -Process electronic work requests and submit proposals for work found on service calls to all accounts unless it is a Key Account handled by others.

What You Bring
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe -Able to pass a Drug Test and a Background check -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to multi-task -Required (2) year degree or equivalent field experience (willing to train) -Strong computerized skills - preference for Sampro -Willingness to learn and be a part of a team -High School Diploma or GED (BS Degree in related field preferred) -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Must be able to work independently
