CAD Technician

Description

• Prepare and develop detailed Revit models of Electrical building systems.
• Assist the project team with information exchange processes between internal and external customers.
• Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.
• Design electrical systems for Data Centers, utilizing Revit to create and maintain BIM models.
• Develop and publish construction documentation for Electrical building systems designs in a fast-paced environment to meet scheduled deliverables.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, interacting with internal groups, external suppliers, consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
• Participate in design coordination meetings with other trades for clash detection and resolution.
• Update and modify existing models, studies, and construction documents as required.

Requirements

• Experience with developing Revit Family content.
• 2 years of design/engineering experience with Electrical Building systems or Mechanical Plumbing on mission-critical facilities.
• Experience directly related to Data Center design and construction.
• Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Dynamo, RF Tools, CTC Tools, and Procore.
• Understanding of building systems and large-scale project design.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of codes and safety regulations related to the MEP industry.
• 2 years of experience using Revit for producing complex BIM models and construction drawings for Electrical or Mechanical building systems.
