The Role

Tasks

-Manage several concurrent projects that are in various stages of design, construction, and warranty periods -Perform professional building and system commissioning work by conducting research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, equipment, resources, layout, usage, and systems to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, codes, and installation or operating permits -Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, accurate reports, sketches, calculations, technical drawings, spreadsheets, and 2D/3D illustrations for the interpretation or presentation of data, findings, or analyses -Create documents such as commissioning plans, commissioning reports, design qualification equipment, facility and utility protocols, and final reports -Write comprehensive reports which include the following sections: recommendations for optimizing building operations (Energy Audits)

What You Bring

-Minimum 4 years’ experience in commissioning -Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems: ability to read, interpret, and correct P&IDs, and experience with working in construction environments -Local travel to project sites; there may be travel to California, New Jersey, and Miami as needed -Proficient with technical writing of documents such as: commissioning plans (CMP): user requirements specifications (URS), risk assessments (RA), factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), pre-functional tests (PFT), functional tests (FT), commissioning test plans (CTP), integrated system tests (IST), maintenance, calibration, and spare parts -CEM (Certified Energy Manager) or approved equivalent preferred -LEED Commissioning Fundamental, Enhanced and Monitoring Based Commissioning -CBCP (Certified Building Commissioning Professional) or approved equivalent preferred
