Tasks

-Assists the Service Manager in quoting, estimating, and delivering CVA’s (service contracts) upcoming jobs coming into the service department. -Provides regular and timely feedback that recognizes employee performance, motivating employees and promoting self-development. -This position requires taking afterhours calls to support customers and technicians as needed. -Reviews all repair work orders for accuracy concerning parts, materials and labor, and approves the release of equipment for delivery to the customer. -Assists the team in the implementation of Contamination Control Guidelines. -Communicates with and coaches employees on assignments, providing technical expertise as needed. -Responds and follows up to employee issues and concerns. -Collaborates closely with the Service Manager to oversee all aspects of the service department, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. -Advises Service Manager of all customer complaints. -Assigns jobs and work areas to Service Technicians according to their skills and knowledge. -Actively seeks out and engages in company-sponsored training to enhance skills and knowledge while also participating in company and location-driven communication efforts, including customer events, department meetings, and other related initiatives. -Serves as a key support in fulfilling the Service Manager's responsibilities and may step into the role as needed in their absence. -Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. -Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC. -Seeks customer feedback proactively, anticipates problems and responds promptly.
