Locate HDD drill heads and assist with telecom construction projects in Washington.

Tasks

-Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor -Operate HDD Locator equipment in accordance with company and industry standards -Maintain all equipment in good and safe working condition and report any findings to lead hand -Install conduit, vaults, and cable work when not locating -Provide HDD drill head location services for the HDD Operator around and/or on utilities for fiber installation projects

What You Bring

-Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements -Candidates must possess and maintain a clean driving record and a valid driver's license; those holding a valid CDL are eligible for additional pay in recognition of the enhanced skills and responsibilities associated with the license -Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis -Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet) and perform work on uneven surfaces -Two years of experience locating for a directional drill or combination of work experience and/or technical training in an industry-related trade certification or education program -This position will require travel throughout the state of Washington - per diem and travel accommodations will be provided -Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures -Must be able to track and communicate daily production and materials
