  • Work closely with technical support, R&D, and product management teams to provide clients with expert advice on coating selection, application methods, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and successful implementation of coating projects.
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts by understanding client needs, proposing appropriate coating solutions, and negotiating contracts.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their operational challenges, coating requirements, and project specifications to recommend optimal products and services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the protective and marine coatings industry to proactively address client needs and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic accounts in the protective and marine coatings market. Act as the primary point of contact for these clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly, managing expectations, and delivering value-added services.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account plans to track progress against targets and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or account management within the protective coatings, marine coatings, or related industrial coatings sector.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of protective and marine coatings, including surface preparation, application techniques, and industry standards (e.g., NACE, SSPC).
  • Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
