Accounting Specialist

Handles invoicing, reconciliations, and customer/vendor relations for accounting.

Tasks

-Reconcile vendor statements -Prepare monthly general journal entries, as assigned -Ensure invoices are loaded to customer portals, as appropriate -Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports. -Review and post vendor and customer invoices -Work with Controller on various accounting tasks as required -Post and match cash receipts, follow up on any discrepancies with customers -Provide support for any special projects as assigned by your supervisor. These special projects, at the determination of your supervisor, may or may not become part of this position's primary responsibilities. -Follow-up on past due invoices -Complete lien waivers as required for various customers -Immediately advise Supervisor of customer or vendor complaints to expedite resolution to ensure and maintain long term relationships. Communicate resolution to customer when appropriate -Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff, and responding to special requests.
