The Role

Overview

Lead CDM Principal Designer overseeing pre‑construction health & safety for large energy projects.

Tasks

-Work with our design teams and others to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate the pre-construction phase of our projects. -Assist our clients in the provision of the pre-construction information. -Coordinate with our design teams and others to ensure the general principles of prevention are applied, during the pre-construction phase of our projects. -Laise with the principal contractors on our projects and share information relevant to the construction phase and prepare a Health and Safety File for the client at project handover. -Work with our design teams to ensure compliance with their duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. -Coordinate with all the duty holders on our projects during the pre-construction phase to ensure cooperation.

What You Bring

-Experience in delivering the Principal Designer role on energy or geographically long projects (roads, pipelines, etc.), ensuring effective and efficient delivery of duties under CDM -High level of commitment to quality, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work on multiple projects/business initiatives at any one time. -Effectively communicates requirements with clarity and precision, demonstrating strong proficiency in both verbal and written English.
