Tasks

We are looking for a Brand and Communications Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a dual-role position with responsibilities spanning both EMEA and global internal communications. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning internal messaging, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting the delivery of corporate communications across the region and globally working closely with the group companies and the global HQ members in Tokyo. You will contribute to a variety of internal initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. -Support global internal communications initiatives, including planning and creating CEO communications, global intranet content planning, events such as the Global Leaders Kick-off Meeting, internal awards programme planning and global employee campaign activation. -Update the HEU intranet and support the migration to the global Hitachi Connect platform. -Support HR team with the induction brand training for the new employees in EMEA region. -Distribute executive communications, including drafting and distributing messages from senior leadership. -Maintain and update key corporate materials such as the EMEA ‘One Hitachi’ video, regional fact explainer documents, and corporate presentations. -Organise and deliver internal events including the annual EMEA Brand & Communications meeting and Town Halls.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision. The role will be a mixture of remote-hybrid work with days in the Hitachi Office. The office location is Hitachi Europe Ltd, Botanica Ditton Park, Riding Court Road, Datchet, SL3 9LL -Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. -Proven experience in internal communications or corporate communications. -Experience in a global or regional internal communications role within a complicated corporate environment. -Familiarity with employee engagement strategies. -Ability to work cross-functionally and across cultures.
