Tasks

-Prepare detailed engineering documents including reports, specifications, and drawings. -Support construction and commissioning phases by reviewing submittals, testing systems, and assisting with startup. -Designing and supporting SCADA system architectures, PLC programming, and communication protocols. -Guiding clients in selecting automation and instrumentation solutions that improve efficiency and reliability in treatment facilities. -Bringing forward innovations such as cloud-based SCADA, IoT, and predictive analytics to strengthen water management. -Leading commissioning activities and troubleshooting systems to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. -Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations across all project work. -You elevate the Water & Wastewater Team by introducing modern automation and digital control solutions. -Developing instrumentation and control system designs, including P&IDs, layouts, and Process Control Narratives. -Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations. -Collaborate with engineers, project managers, CAD staff, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within scope. -Develop proposals, cost estimates, and scopes of work to support business development.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for control systems in critical infrastructure. -Certifications in SCADA, PLCs, or industrial automation. -Excellent communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills. -Project management or leadership experience. -Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, particularly in the field. -Proven skills in PLC programming, SCADA platforms, and field instrumentation. -5+ years of SCADA and instrumentation experience in water/wastewater facilities. -A degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Systems Engineering (or related).
