The Role

Overview

Support sample collection, processing, storage, and shipment for oncology clinical trials.

Tasks

-Collaborate with MDG Coordinator and/or Project Manager/Clinical Research Coordinator to review, initiate, and manage protocols requiring the collection and handling of research specimens. -Prepare lab kits for various studies. -Assist with responding to queries and communications with study sponsors. -Assist with maintaining inventory of study-specific materials and supplies. -Participate in the day-to-day research sample collection, processing, storage, and shipment across clinical trials throughout each protocol’s lifecycle, including start-up, maintenance, and closeout.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of quality control and inventory management. -Effective communication skills for data management and patient recruitment. -Experience in oncology and hematology. -Experience in clinical research, including clinical trials and patient record management. -Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field with 0-1 years of experience or 4+ years of relevant experience without a degree. -Proficiency in laboratory procedures and biology. -Experience with EDC (Electronic Data Capture) systems and specimen collection.
