You analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and estimate labor, material, and equipment costs. By soliciting and reviewing subcontractor and vendor quotes, you ensure comprehensive scope coverage and value for every proposal. Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of heavy civil construction are essential, reflecting Willmeng’s commitment to quality, integrity, and teamwork. -Experience with alternative delivery projects such as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design-Build is preferred, but not required. -Brings proven experience in heavy civil construction—earthwork, concrete, and utilities. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with 5–10 years of industry experience preferred. -Communicates clearly and collaborates seamlessly with project teams and clients.
