  • Anticipate business challenges that could have significant impact on Autodesk's operational and financial success, and proactively develop solutions to address them
  • Lead the resolution of complex problems within own discipline, often with the need to integrate cross-functional processes and outcomes
  • Present findings and deliver GTM recommendations to leadership including Strategic Plans & Opportunity Proposals.
  • influence and implement growth plans with the Product, Marketing and Sales teams to include successful GTM approaches for new products and platforms.
  • Spearhead market research, analyze data and customer feedback, and evaluate industry trends to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Influence leaders within own function to adopt solutions, establish priorities, and allocate resources
  • Engage customers and the industry – Executive Customer Councils, Executive Briefings, Industry Events & Working Groups, and Media Support.
  • Development of novel, highly innovative solutions is often required
  • Provide input to functional strategies related to own discipline.
  • May lead teams or projects with broad visibility
  • Drive development of the strategic GTM plan (short and long-term) for Architecture. Collaborate with peers in the Industry Strategy team to shape the AEC Strategy and propel initiatives across vertical industries.

  • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to distill market insights into actionable strategy
  • Recognized as experts within a discipline, and also apply working knowledge of the theories and concepts in other related disciplines
  • Master’s degree in Architecture (MBA a plus)
  • Travel 20-30% for customer and industry engagements
  • Outstanding communication skills—able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for executives and customers alike
  • Experience presenting to C-staff with a strong executive presence, and engaging customers, partners, and industry leaders
  • 5+ years professional experience in Architecture with a strong understanding of design and practice workflows
  • Proven experience driving results in a matrixed environment through cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Business teams
  • Strong executive presence
  • Very advanced expert roles that provide advice relevant to their subject matter expertise to senior leaders
  • Strategy or management consulting experience (i.e. top-tier firm or equivalent strategic role)
  • Passion for technology with deep knowledge of software, IT, and emerging industry trends
  • Exceptional business acumen with a track record of solving complex customer and industry problems
  • Jobs at this level reflect sophisticated subject matter expertise and consultative capabilities
  • Expert proficiency with building compelling presentations, craft executive-level visuals, and perform advanced data analysis (pivot tables, complex formulas, charts, and dashboards)
  • 10+ years of total related experience including Architecture and business roles including strategy, technology, or consulting
