Tasks

-Conduct troubleshooting, fault-finding, and diagnostic analysis to resolve plant reliability issues -Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records within SAP or a similar system -Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems for fixed and mobile equipment -Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and plant availability -Support installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems -Carry out HV switching operations and ensure electrical systems meet operational and safety standards

This site-based role is ideal for a hands-on industrial electrician with solid experience in HV switching and instrumentation. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of both fixed and mobile plant, supporting production and maintenance objectives across the site. NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join the maintenance team of a major mining and resources operation on a permanent basis, working an 8/6 FIFO roster. -Demonstrated experience in heavy industrial or mining operations -Strong safety awareness, teamwork, and communication skills -Qualified Industrial Electrician with a valid Electrical Trade Certificate -High Risk Work tickets (Forklift, EWP >11m) desirable -Competent in HV switching (training or authorisation preferred) -Proficient in SAP or similar CMMS software -Knowledge and practical experience with instrumentation systems
