Tasks
-Represent Canada in the Global Internal Communications Community of Practice, sharing best practice and contributing to global projects. -Collaborate across the marcomms team to continually improve communications and engagement of marcomms initiatives. -Work with Global Internal Communications and other Global Business Area (GBA) Communication Directors to embed global initiatives in a relevant and meaningful way and to support cross-GBA and global communications activity. -Manage relationships with a range of stakeholders across all areas of the business. -Develop change communications plans to support the ongoing transformation of the Arcadis business in-region. -Ensure that internal communications messages are aligned with external messages. Identify and source internal stories that can be elevated globally or externally. -Manage internal digital channels and work with the marcomms global shared service centre (GSSC) in the development and delivery of internal content. -Support the Canada Marketing & Communications Director with crisis communications. -Where opportunities arise, join global IC taskforces to bring specialist IC skills and expertise to organization-wide programs (as agreed with the in-country leader) -Arrange Town Halls and leadership events. -Advise and coach business leaders on the impact and effectiveness of communications, and their impact on the employee experience. -Engage with the GSSC for the creation and delivery of high-quality content. -Integrate across the marcomms team to continually improve internal communications and engagement of marcomms initiatives. -Tailor global programs to make them relevant for the regional business. -Play a collaborative role in the marcomms function in raising the profile of Arcadis, delivering the global strategy, managing internal events and supporting Arcadians in serving our clients and markets. -Manage and deliver internal communications strategies and channels using a best practice and continuous improvement mindset. -Manage the Canada intranet content. -Work closely with marcomms colleagues to ensure an ‘internal first’ mentality on external campaigns and initiatives, working to ensure our people are brand advocates. -Manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, across all areas and levels of the business. -Develop and support the Canada-wide marketing and communications strategy, leading on internal communications channel and content plan. -Plan and develop high quality written content such as blogs, internal communications news and announcements, bulletins, storytelling, case studies, presentations, speeches, newsletters and intranet stories. -Provide monthly and quarterly reporting on internal communications effectiveness. -Manage and lead on key internal communications initiatives.

What You Bring
-Demonstrated experience in both internal and external communications. -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in journalism, communications, or related field. -Experience with employee engagement strategies or organizational transformation projects. -Experience handling budget management for communications projects. -Experience supporting or delivering global communications programs. -Experience with communications effectiveness measurement and reporting. -Experience advising and influencing leadership and colleagues on communications matters. -Advanced degree or professional certification in communications, change management, or related field -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Familiarity with aligning internal and external communications strategies. -Minimum eight years’ professional experience in internal communications, change management, or a similar role. -Experience participating in or leading cross-functional communications projects. -Experience managing content for digital channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters). -Proven application of change communications methodologies. -Track record of project managing multi-channel communications initiatives. -Experience working in a matrix organization, preferably global.
