The Role

Overview

Operate forklifts to move, load, and manage warehouse materials.

Tasks

-Track product locations within the warehouse and respond promptly to order requests. -Receive finished goods and raw materials, following standard operating procedures. -Pick products according to orders, palletize them, and prepare them for shipment. -Multi-task throughout the day by unloading, receiving, staging pallets, and loading shipments. -Safely operate LP sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, propane, and/or stand-up electric lift trucks. -Handle recycling materials responsibly, count and record materials moved, and maintain accurate documentation. -Load trucks per loading diagrams, ensuring items are secured properly. -Adhere to all safety rules, report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management, and follow any other duties assigned by the supervisor. -Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by performing tasks like sweeping and trash removal. -Perform safety inspections before each shift and remove any malfunctioning equipment from service.

What You Bring

-Physical ability to see and step over obstacles, as well as hear forklift equipment. -Basic mathematical skills for calculations involving multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. -Two to three years of related work experience. -Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods. -Lift properly.
