Senior Engineer

Lead SLP works, managing team, safety, budget, schedule, and partner coordination.

Tasks

-Coordinate day and night time work scopes for effective programme delivery. -Setting clearly defined objectives for self and others to deliver plans. Taking appropriate ownership and accountability. Identifies and organises resources to accomplish tasks. Ensuring plans have targets, measures, and clear accountabilities. -Support and coach your engineers in delivering the works in your package. -Be responsible for short-term programming and sequencing of works aligned to the main Programme. -Ensuring permits, RAMS, QA documents are in place and completed as relevant to your works. -Champion heath, safety, sustainability and environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. -Proactively manage your packages to Programme, identify risks and opportunities, monitor the budget, and liaise with the planner and relevant QS to manage your works. -Achieving the required level of Quality, rive efficiency and continual productivity improvements, creating best practices for the team and adding value for our customers.

What You Bring

-Driving licence -Experience working at Heathrow and /or a LIVE operational highly regulated environment -Good delivery experience in civils ground works, and structural steel works -Able to support, coach and lead a team of engineers, supervisors and partners to achieve your teams tasks. -Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering and relevant professional experience -Understand and Champion the Heathrow "One team" ethos. -Package management experience, including short term programming, budget monitoring and reporting -Wider appreciation for Architectural fit out and M&E and Systems installation. -Knowledge and experience of NEC contracts -Able to work and learn quickly in a fast paced, fun and dynamic environment. -Proficient user of AutoCAD 3D, Civil3D, BIM360, Bentley MicroStation 3D Modelling and Point Cloud
