Sr. Civil Engineer

Overview

Lead civil engineering projects for facility maintenance, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.

Tasks

-Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. -Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (MEP, HVAC, etc.) for integrated facility solutions. -Develop preventive maintenance schedules for civil infrastructure. -Conduct site inspections and structural assessments to ensure safety and compliance. -Manage contractors and vendors for civil works and ensure timely project delivery. -Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. -Prepare reports, proposals, and documentation for internal and client use. -Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications. -Lead civil engineering projects related to building maintenance, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades. -Ensuring that all existing employees, potential employees, colleagues, and customers are treated equally and with respect. -Ensure adherence to local building codes, environmental regulations, and company standards.

What You Bring

-Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus. -Effective communication and interpersonal skills. -Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. -Having clear and concise procedures and guidelines for both line managers and employees to ensure policies are fully understood and implemented. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred) with UPDA/MMUP registration. -Complying with the relevant employment legislation and codes of practice. -Strong knowledge of building systems, construction materials, and maintenance practices. -Excellent project management and leadership skills. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering software. -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Minimum 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in facilities management.
