Tasks

-coordination with drilling contractors, supervision of drilling and geotechnical field investigations, logging of borings and test pits. -Assist with lab testing assignment, compilation of lab and field testing results. -Assist the Project Engineers/Managers and prepare geotechnical reports. -Perform geotechnical engineering analysis under supervision including soil/rock classification, slope stability analysis, earth -Assist the Project Engineers/Project Managers and participate in field assignments including boring layout and utility clearance,

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills -retention systems, shallow and deep foundation design, settlement, ground improvement, and geologic hazard evaluation. -This position will require 60% to 70% travel -Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, or Mining Engineering, or Geology. -Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks -MS Geotechnical Engineering/Geology is a plus -Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Including Word, Excel, and Power Point preferred -An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, supervisors, clients, and subcontractors -Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
