Civil Works Manager (Depot & Online Buildings)

Oversee planning, execution, and maintenance of depot and online building civil projects.

Tasks

-Respond to emergencies and infrastructure failures with timely solutions. -Ensuring that all existing employees, potential employees, colleagues, and customers are treated equally and with respect. -Monitor stock levels and ensure efficient material flow and storage. -Liaise with internal departments, government agencies, and community stakeholders. -Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs. -Recruit, train, and manage civil works and depot staff. -Supervise depot infrastructure, including warehousing, logistics, and building maintenance. -Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery. -Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers. -Ensure all civil works comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety codes. -Lead the planning, design, and construction of depot and online building projects. -Communicate project updates and operational changes effectively. -Implement health and safety protocols across depot operations. -Conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations. -Experience in managing large-scale construction or refurbishment projects. -Minimum 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure or depot management. -Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. -Excellent leadership and organizational skills. -Having clear and concise procedures and guidelines for both line managers and employees to ensure policies are fully understood and implemented. -Complying with the relevant employment legislation and codes of practice. -Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. -Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics principles. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. -Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
