Tasks

-Complies with all company policies and procedures. -Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor. -May Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance. -Ensures all orders are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport. -Labels banded carts ensuring accuracy of units, destination, handler, etc. -Bands material, safely using equipment provided to secure materials for shipment. -Sustains a clean work area by sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, keeps dust collector clean, etc. to prepare for the next shift.

-50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment. -Flexibility in scheduling - able to work overtime as needed. -Must be 18 years of age or older. -Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills -Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards. and maintaining a safe work environment Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights. -100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp. -May be required to successfully pass PIT training while following all safety requirements -Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust. -80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception. -Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions. -Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment -10%: Working bent at waist, stoop, kneel, crouch, bending, or twisting.
