Tasks

-Function as part of a team, involving and supporting others to get the job done -Identifying new cloud technologies and platforms to help solve technical challenges -Implementing recommended modifications while adhering to change management processes, vulnerability management and remediation, and engaging in disaster recovery tests -Responsible for day-to-day operations of managing cloud resources which include resource allocation, optimizing capacity, and configuration management -Designing technical architecture for cloud solutions that meet the needs for scalability, reliability, availability, and performance -Involvement in a variety of operational activities, such as continuous environment health monitoring, maintaining standards, and stability across our IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environment -Initiating incident management in the event of an issue and addressing escalations -Cloud Capacity Planning, Profiling, Load testing, and monitoring of cloud applications, while incorporating security best practices -Operationalize solutions from proof-of-concept through production, using automation for repeatability, maintainability, and to enforce standards -Build cloud foundational components encompassing network, security, identity, operations, and governance in the cloud

What You Bring

-Understanding of Azure App Services architecture and deployment -4+ years of relevant experience -Ability to automate deployments using Terraform, PowerShell, CLI, or Bicep, and manage separate environments (Development, UAT, Production) through an IaC solution -Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in diverse situations with all levels of management, vendors, clients (internal), and peers. Ability and willingness to continue to expand knowledge and experience base -Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP -Experience with Azure DevOps for source control, continuous integration and deployment and software development lifecycle -Comfortable talking about technical issues with business partners and business issues with technical partners -Experience with cloud containerization technology and configurations -Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related fields of study -Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure Services such as Azure API Management, Azure Database management, Azure Security, Load balancing technologies: Front Door & Application Gateway + Web Application Firewalls -Experience in High Availability, geo-distributed architecture for multi-regional applications that require improved performance, and disaster recovery implementations -Microsoft Azure certification (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ500, AZ-305, AZ-700) -Knowledge in the platform of Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS services and foundational components of compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, security, tenant/subscriptions
