Tasks
-Obtain customer signatures on packing slips for receipt of goods and maintain accurate delivery records. -Pack and label materials for delivery or customer pick-up, preparing necessary documentation such as bills of lading. -Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, following established routes and schedules. -Safely deliver plumbing products to customers’ homes and designated locations. -The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. -Verify filled orders before delivery or pick-up to ensure accuracy and timeliness. -Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure transport of materials. -Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle to ensure compliance with safety and company standards. -Communicate delivery status and any delays to the scheduling and routing team to ensure smooth operations. -Pull orders from inventory manually or using a forklift, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. -Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols in the warehouse and delivery areas. -Assist in training new Delivery Drivers on company procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. -Restock shelves and racks from overstock as needed to maintain proper inventory levels. -Foster a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, coworkers, and management. -Address and resolve customer concerns in the field, escalating issues when necessary. -Perform routine vehicle inspections using the designated inspection form and report any safety concerns to management. -Receive work orders from the supervisor and prioritize tasks based on scheduling needs.

What You Bring
-Possess a valid CA Class C Driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age. -Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck. -Knowledge of the procedure in the event of an accident in the warehouse or in company vehicle. -Previous warehouse experience is strongly preferred, but not required. -Long hours of moving and heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs. -Can pass a background check and drug test. -High school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. -2 years of professional driving related experience and/or training -Knowledge of driving laws and adherence to speed limits while driving a company vehicle. -Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications. -Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. -Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Must have clean driving record. -Ability to put things in a proper sequence (e.g., by size, alphabetically, numerically) and to put like items together.
