Summer Associate supporting construction management tasks across project lifecycle.

Tasks
-Attend project meetings (OAC, trade partner meetings, RFI/Submittal, Schedule) -Provide input on schedule and constructability issues -Participate in pre-bid and pre-construction conferences -Partner with Superintendents on overall development schedules -Communicate and converse to exchange information -Assist in preparation of internal monthly project reports -Assist in coordination of power, phone, cable, and gas installation -Participate in submittal and RFI process -Participate in design and development meetings -Move about the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. -Provide assistance with day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities. -Assist in procurement of municipality approvals and permits -Assist with formatting and processing change orders -Review and redline selected plans and specifications -Assist in preparation of bid packages for contractors and review pricing

What You Bring
-Ability to work under stressful, fast-paced conditions -Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills -Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. -Ability to maneuver through a construction site -Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint -Ability to carry 25+ pounds (computer, files, site debris, etc.) with or without accommodations. -Collaborative style and enjoys teamwork -Proven organizational skills -Ability to operate a computer keyboard, phone, calculator and other office equipment with or without accommodations. -Must have reliable transportation -Must be able to transport 10-25 lbs. (computer, files, etc.) -Undergraduate with a major in Construction Management -Ability to travel to field locations and stay overnight, if required -Seeing to read a variety of materials
