Tasks

-Ensure compliance with and proactively promote safe working principles, good working practises, wearing of correct PPE, good housekeeping, reporting of safety observations, near misses and incidents. -Complete post operation equipment maintenance checks. -Rigging and general lifting of equipment. -Wiring and testing of electrical systems (both new installations and refurbishment). -Proactively participate in the companies in house training scheme for our specialist equipment as well as relevant third party courses. -Reports directly to the Foreman and Supervisor on site and the personnel planner in the office. -Repair and fault finding of electrical systems. -Support packing and unpacking of containers in accordance with detailed packing lists. -To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legal, company and client safety regulations, risk assessments and method statements. -Maintenance, preparation and packing of equipment in the Middlesbrough yard in readiness for mobilisation to a project. -Filling out project documentation such as but not limited to: equipment pre-use check sheets, maintenance records, daily site reports. -Unpacking, setup, istallation, operation and maintenance of Mammoet Offshore Services equipment including but not limited to strand jacks, diesel driven hydraulic power unites, ballast pumps, winches, hydraulic jacks and weighing equipment on project sites. -Travel to a wide range of project sites worldwide both onshore and offshire.

What You Bring

-PLC controller equipment, VB6, C and C++ programming experience in a similar role -Current offshore medical and survival certificate and OPITO MIST -Current valid driving licence -Willing and capable to learn operation and maintenance Mammoet's specialist equipment -Reading, understanding and working to site and project specific method statements, risk assessments, ITP's and engineering drawings. -Electrical City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification -Industry related general certificates such as CPCS Slinger-Signaller, Lift Supervisor, Forklift Truck, Telehandler, CCNSG Safety Passport, Abrasive Wheels, IPAF, Working at Height -Based at our Offshore Services office in Middlesbrough, UK with regular travel worldwide -HNC or higher in electronic/electrical engineering or similar -Ability to wire and test electrical systems, read and understand electrical schematics, troubleshooting and fault finding -Working with low voltage and ELV systems and experience with their applications -Current valid passport (no restrictions) -Willing to travel and work within and outside of the UK for extensive periods including some offshore working
