Tasks

Acts as key point of contact for all IT matters for the Group Supporting all users with IT issues Managing stocks of equipment, consumables, and other supplies Managing the IT support ticketing system Repairing equipment and replacing parts Analysing call logs to spot trends and underlying issues Reporting to our IT Manager, the IT Support Technician will be responsible for supporting the operation with new starter set up, 1st and 2nd line support via our ticketing system and any office or departmental moves. Keep abreast of current trends, developments and issues in information and communication technology, and identify implications or opportunities. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, etc. Attending weekly meetings with the IT Manager to determine priorities and requirements Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults Maintaining records of software licences Responding to breakdowns and user issues Build effective relationships with all stakeholder groups in the organisation. Ensure that all preventative maintenance on equipment is carried out both efficiently and safely.

What You Bring

Be capable of working under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrate a strong aptitude for multi-tasking. Experience in operating a support ticketing system. Positive and flexible approach Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills Experience with computer and network security Good communication skills, both written and verbal. 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Proficient in networking configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance. Must have ICT system support or equivalent qualification. Strong Teamwork abilities.
