The Role

Overview

Develop and maintain dynamic water system plans to guide investment and risk mitigation.

Tasks

-Leading workshops with various stakeholders to understand current and future risks and identifying how these might be resolved. -Creating and maintaining ‘Dynamic System Plans’, as a system of physical assets, from ‘source to tap’. Dynamic System Plans encompass all water assets and activities from abstraction, treatment, distribution and supply through to the customer’s tap. -Working with safety in mind for yourself, your stakeholders and the assets under your care -Strategically bring together key stakeholders and capture data from corporate systems and site visits to provide risk and cost information to support investment planning process. -Generate initial root cause statements, evaluation of risks and creation of solutions to produce investments from the system plan for prioritisation. -Working with key stakeholders and business experts to support regulatory requirements to produce a Water Resource Management Plan (WRMP) and the PR29 Business Plan.

What You Bring

-Experience using Excel, PowerBi and ideally investment costing programmes, such as Copperleaf C55 -Advanced data reporting skills -Full UK Driving Licence -An appreciation of safe operation and design -Excellent communication skills -Knowledge of the Water industry would be desirable but not essential -You must be a pro-active self-starter able to work within guidelines
