The Role

Overview

Manage UK corporate tax compliance, reporting, and provide tax advisory support.

Tasks

-Manage tax project activity as appropriate. -Support the review of tax systems, policies and processes, including consideration of SOX requirements, SAO etc. -Preparing UK corporation tax returns for the UK Corporate Tax Manager’s review. -Responsible for maintaining cash tax forecast reporting for the region. -Support the tax reporting and compliance processes for European jurisdictions. -Own the meeting of withholding tax compliance obligations and related double tax treaty applications. -Be responsible for the running of the tax provision work for the UK group. -Interacting with internal colleagues in financial accounting, legal and other global tax team members on a regular basis. -Support the UK Group’s R&D tax credit process; -Support peers on a variety of tax advisory and project work.

What You Bring

-Able to discuss tax technical matters in plain language. -A relevant number of years' experience working in corporate tax required. -Familiarity with Tax Accounting concepts. -Experience using MS Dynamics and the MS Power applications. -Inquisitive and analytical approach. -Ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment. -Well organised and able to manage own time effectively. -Experience in interrogating a General Ledger system. -Experience of Corporate Tax Compliance and the Thomson Reuters Onesource software platforms. -Tax reporting experience, ideally including US GAAP tax reporting experience.
