Design and deliver highway and active travel projects for UK and international clients.

Tasks

-Public realm Design- Footways/ Cycleways, Design of Pedestrian/ Cycle crossings. -Be able to undertake the recruitment of new team members in line with the team's growth targets -Support the successful delivery of projects on time adhering to quality and budgets -Project Management – Design Decision Registers/ Design Risk Registers. -Conduct required checks and reviews of iCRC team’s designs and drawings -Attend and contribute to team and project meetings -Design of Bus Corridors/ Park and Ride schemes. -Training younger colleagues on active travel schemes, highway design concepts, Civil 3D software etc.,

What You Bring

-Knowledge of Keysigns/line or similar Road signs/ marking design software -Knowledge of Highway Geometric Design -Minimum 4 years working experience on international projects including UK experience. -Ability to independently carry out engineering tasks from initiation through completion without continual direction. -Good written and spoken English skills -Line management experience -Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables -Knowledge of using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D software independently -Understanding of software’s operations and limitations -Clear communication (verbal and written) with colleagues in India and the UK on all matters – project related, technical communication and day-to-day matters -Knowledge of using Autodesk AutoCAD software independently -It is mandatory to have 2 years of working experience on UK projects. -Ability to handle the team and deliver schemes independently. -Vehicle Swept path analysis. -Have an excellent knowledge of relevant technical design standards, preferably DMRB -Road Signs and Markings design. -Member or working towards associated Professional body membership. -Basic Knowledge on Traffic Signals. -Have an excellent level of technical expertise in Highways or Transport -BEng /BTech in Civil Engineering preferably MEng/ MTech on Highways/ Traffic engineering with a minimum of 6 years experience in the field of Highways/ Transportation. -Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
