Tasks

-Take initiative to pull the team together and accomplish team goals. -Offers technical guidance to team members. -Review project parameters related to piping requirements. -Ensuring that drawings issued are in accordance with the agreed standards as required by the UK / ME region. -Responsible for completion of specifically assigned tasks to time and cost. -Develop preliminary Bills of Materials concerning piping design. -Reviews drawings, and vendor equipment documentation, both within the discipline as well as from other fields, for compliance with project requirements and actively seeks resolution. -Interdisciplinary check of all Civil / Structural / Piping / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation drawings -Maintain suitable records of correspondence and work completed for reference and auditing purposes. -Directly performs work of designers and drafters, this work includes the preparation of 3D model in P3D, E3D application also preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed construction drawings using 2D CAD software like AutoCAD and MicroStation. -Work together with the group rather than in isolation to promote a team atmosphere. -Preparation or review of engineering studies and reports -Provide guidance and mentorship to lower classification piping designers. -Preparing P&ID and PFD using Autodesk Smart P&ID application. -Preparation of reports such as feasibility studies, method statements, specifications, design reports, schedules, construction drawings and bills of quantities. -Preparation or review of material quantity estimates. -Coaches and mentors’ members of the team.

What You Bring

-Proficient in Equipment design and development, System design, including concept sketches and layouts. -Proficient in Autodesk Navisworks review capabilities, as required. -Must be able to use Navisworks to generate clash results, manage clash resolution, redline BIM Models, capture viewpoints and cascade reports to discipline teams. -Is responsive to meeting internal and external client requirements. -Thorough awareness of international codes and standards used for Mechanical and/or Piping design in the industry. -You will demonstrate a high level of commitment, flexibility and be eager to accept responsibility and learn new skills, whilst always exercising an active interest in helping to solve problems faced by another team member. -Being able to understand the implication of adjusting priorities of team members. -Shall be Capable of Producing P3D Model Independently in coordination with other disciplines. -Must be an advanced user of P3D & Its equivalent tools for Plant Design with capabilities to federate individual discipline models, maintain and run clash related activities for discipline models. -High performing ability to work and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams and work independently. Ensuring your work is to the highest appropriate standards and in compliance with Atkins quality systems and standards. -An effective and reliable team member able to apply knowledge gained. -Working knowledge of standard codes and EDMS (Electronic Data Management System). -Familiar with planning, budgeting, and scheduling of basic drafting tasks in designated disciplines. -Should be able to work independently and handle an area with team of designers/engineers. -Willing to participate and contribute to company social activities. -Experience of preparing Isometric extraction from Autodesk Smart Isometric. -Able to present / represent their technical work. -Interface experience with project management team and senior engineers. -Excellent written and spoken English communication within a business environment. -Engineering Graduate or Engineering Diploma or ITI with experience between 5 to 8 Years mainly for Industrial, Mining & Metallurgy, Chemical and Petrochemicals multidisciplinary of medium and large size projects. -Willingness to share information and knowledge with team members. -Demonstrates imitative and basic leadership skills to give directions in a small work group.
