The Role

Overview

Install and align pipe for storm drainage, sewer, and water mains on construction sites.

Tasks

-Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill. -Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources. -Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing. -Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue. -Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. -Install and repair sanitary and stormwater sewer structures and pipe systems. -Move throughout a construction jobsite which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds. -Productivity tools: Utilize cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance your productivity and efficiency. -Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers. -Cut pipes to required lengths. -Install and use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, and transit levels.
