The Role

Overview

Design instrumentation systems for EPC power projects, create docs, support construction.

Tasks

-Collaborate with electrical and civil teams to ensure coordinated design efforts. -Produce control panel layouts, instrumentation diagrams, connection diagrams, loop sheets, P&ID, and system plans. -Provide on-site support during construction and startup phases. -Support cost estimation, material take-offs, and project scheduling. -Perform sizing calculations for instrumentation wiring, conduit, and signal routing. -Create accurate installation documents from vendor equipment drawings. -Route conduit and cable tray systems for instrumentation components. -Interpret project scope, specifications, and design criteria for instrumentation systems.

What You Bring

-Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting. -EPC and power sector experience preferred. -Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D desirable), Revit, Navisworks, ElecDes and Microsoft Office Suite. -Familiarity with instrumentation materials, construction practices, and drafting standards. -Minimum 7 years of instrumentation design and drafting experience. -Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or across virtual teams.
