Prepares scope and bid package breakdowns for subcontract and vendor quotes.
Responsible for performing all aspects of estimating.
Develops wage rate build-ups.
Develops detailed material take-offs.
Conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard estimating techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Prepares and/or coordinates preparation of full project estimates. Provides complete conceptual and final estimating input.
May provide guidance to less experienced estimating personnel.
Assists in the preparation of the Estimate Plan.
Assists in analyzing and using estimates to predict key project issues.
Prepares subcontract bid analysis for scope, cost, and price.

Electrical estimating experience from a larger GC or electrical contractor.
Demonstrated experience in electrical estimating and low voltage systems.
Experience in electrical estimating in various commercial industries, such as: aviation, healthcare, sports arenas, concert venues or hospitals.
Relevant experience in electrical trades.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Demonstrated experience with commercialized estimating programs, such as MC or other computer aided estimating programs.
Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact the estimate and quantifies the impact.

BA/BS and 6 years of relevant electrical construction and estimating experience or AA/AS and 8 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Recognizes, understands and applies estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for compiling all types of estimates.
