Overview

Assist in field construction and office civil engineering tasks using CAD and surveying.

Tasks

-Assist with AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings and update redlines with various project set drawings. -Assist with research, development and design of projects. -Operate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station. -Perform work in a variety of software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, etc. -Assist with plan specifications and estimates as well as documenting construction activities.

What You Bring

-Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD are preferred. -Able to work extended periods of time in outdoor conditions. -Above average math and communication skills. -Valid driver’s license and availability for overnight travel. -Enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering program.
