Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure product quality and maintainability.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to all constituent technologies – hardware, firmware, software, security and testing.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical direction when needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, software engineers, security engineers and test engineers, to define system level requirements and interfaces.
Resulting design must ensure adherence to project specifications, and quality standards.
Participate in the full product development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
Mentor and provide guidance to other lead engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience.
Lead system design of complex software, hardware and firmware solutions that define future Sol-Ark products and ensure the interoperability of them with existing and future systems.
Create and manage clear and concise documentation for all designs, development processes, and project deliverables.

Strong experience in delivering solutions in line with defined schedules and timelines.
Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
Knowledge of power electronics and control algorithms.
Familiarity with software configuration management tools and version control systems.
Solid understanding of software architectures and modern micro-service architectures.
Over 10 years of combined experience in embedded software development on microcontrollers, hardware development and software development.
Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting complex systems using hardware and software debugging tools.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Solid understanding of real-time operating systems, embedded systems architectures, and software/hardware integration.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in developing software for real-time control applications.
Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and safety-critical software development.
