Tasks

-Conduct meetings to communicate project status and manpower scheduling. -Address and resolve any trade-related issues or conflicts that arise during construction. -Approve trade-related expenditures and track financial progress. -Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including project managers, and other trade superintendents. -Provide guidance and support to trade superintendents to enhance performance and productivity. -Address and mitigate safety hazards promptly. -Identify and resolve trade-specific construction-related issues. -Implement corrective actions to keep trade activities on track. -Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. -Monitor trade-specific budgets and costs. -Enforce safety policies and procedures. -Ensure timely procurement and delivery of trade-specific materials and equipment. -Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards. -Lead and coordinate the trade workforce. -Develop and maintain schedules for trade-specific activities. -Coordinate trade work with other trades and general construction activities. -Implement cost-saving measures and value engineering within the trade. -Prepare and submit regular reports on trade-specific progress. -Supervise and manage all activities related to the specific trade (e.g., pipefitting, plumbing, sheet metal, electrical).

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience as a superintendent, with extensive experience in specific trade. -This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury. -Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction); use hands, fingers, arms, and legs fully; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. -Proven ability to manage trade-specific work within larger construction projects. -Clean driving record, drug test, and background check are required. -Adapt to changing project requirements and unforeseen challenges within the trade. -Strong knowledge of trade-specific methods, materials, and regulations. -Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
