Fit and align pipe spools on evening shift, ensuring safety and quality.

Tasks

-Tack Welding to join fittings and pipes to fabricate complete spools for piping systems. -Participating in, accepting and adopting the safety principles -Read and interpret isometric spool sheets, P&ID and specifications drawings. -Select type and size of pipe and fittings required by applicable spool sheets. -Use your experience to fit spools in the proper sequence for roll welding. -Flame cut openings for attachments in pipe walls.

What You Bring

-1-2 years of directly related work experience -Possess excellent communication, organizational and people skills -Experience with butt weld fitting a requirement -Possess a valid Alberta Journeyman Pipefitting Certificate with Interprovincial Red Sealed Journeyman Pipefitter Certificate is preferred or enrolled as an Apprentice Pipefitter, with relevant experience -Bench fit pipefittings, flanges and pipe from 1” – 24” diameter of various pipe schedules. -Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment health assessment including a drug and alcohol test. -Ability to work overtime
