The Role
Overview
Maintain, repair, install and test plumbing and medical gas systems in facilities.

Tasks
-Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations. -Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system. -Working on market leading building automation technology deployment. -Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices. -Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. -Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc. -Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements. -Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed. -Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer. -Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed. -Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair. -Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.

What You Bring
-Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. -Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. -In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. -Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. -High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level required. Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred. Valid Driver’s License required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
