Senior Design Engineer

Description

• Encouraging and collaborative team environment.
• Liaise with Sales and Contract Managers regarding onsite specifications, installation, and bracketing
• Ensure design schedules are met for approval, fabrication, and construction.
• Daily liaison with internal and external clients/customers
• Work closely with new business colleagues to ensure smooth handover of projects from sales through design to completion with all required deliverables
• Complete Design Risk Assessments

Requirements

• Fire Suppression Design knowledge using LPCB rules, NFPA, and FM Global standards.
• Experience producing and working with contractual documentation.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Understand customers and contacts within the business
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
• BIM experience.
• LPCB Basic qualification.
• Basic understanding of LPC rules incorporating BS EN 12845, NFPA, and FM Global standards for all hazard classifications.
