The Role

Overview

Assist in coordinating construction, safety, scheduling, and documentation for projects.

Tasks

-Participation in/documentation of project coordination meetings -Review/negotiate change proposal pricing from subcontractors and prepare change proposal pricing for self-performed work -Supervision/coordination of subcontractors’ field installations -Procurement and expediting of material and equipment -Change order documentation and associated cost reporting and maintenance -Implement all applicable safety and EEO/Affirmative Action programs on project -Maintenance of As-Built plans -Project cost review, reporting, updating and accounting -Monitor/document jobsite safety and accident prevention -Mechanical, electrical and piping systems coordination -Shop drawing/submittal review and coordination -Research and suggest options on construction means, methods and equipment -Review of subcontractor applications for payment

What You Bring

-General knowledge of construction principles/practices required -Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree -Construction internship or other related construction work experience preferred -Ability to move or travel throughout the SoCal region as needed -Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment
