This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, mentor others, and influence transport design that supports vibrant, sustainable communities.

  • Engage confidently with clients, local authorities, architects, and planners.
  • Review and contribute to designs using AutoCAD (or equivalent).
  • Mentor and support junior team members and graduates.
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline targets.
  • Manage project resources effectively and support financial planning.
  • Provide input on site access, junction layouts, and masterplanning for all modes of travel.
  • Prepare Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Transport Statements for a variety of developments.

  • A relevant degree and ideally progress toward professional accreditation (CIHT, TPS or ICE).
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Strong experience in a consultancy environment managing transport and infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to use JUNCTIONS, LinSig, or similar software for modelling and assessment.
  • A good understanding of current design standards and planning processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
