Tasks

-Makes some decisions involving reasonableness and accuracy of work -Assists with training new Document Control Specialists/Technicians -Monitors and processes documents into SAP or Excel -Creates and verifies reports -Ensure organization follows policies and retrieves documents upon request -Store, manage, and track physical and digital records and documents -Researches and processes data requests for documents, metadata, and status of documents in the workflow lifecycle -Archive inactive records and documents -Provides support with acquisitions and divestitures as requested -Maintains data integrity by performing quality control checks and audits -Monitors lifecycle of documents as they are ingested into the system, processed administratively and stored as an official record

What You Bring

-2 years experience in a technical support role with 6 months office experience required -Intermediate level Microsoft Office -Strong prioritization skills and attention to detail -Understands the purpose of complex documents and how they interconnect in relation to business functions and processes -High School education, associate degree, or some college cores -Previous experience as a General Labourer in a manufacturing environment an asset -Ability to communicate effectively in English (Mandarin highly preferred) -Existing knowledge of Workplace Safety, First Aid and CPR preferred
