Operating Engineer

Overview

On‑site engineer performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs of building systems.

Tasks

-Comply with all safety procedures -Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work and general maintenance -Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable) -Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests -Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks -Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls -Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs -Join an industry leader and shape the future of commercial real estate

What You Bring

-3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry -Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance) -Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall -Strong customer service skills -Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs -Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable -Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive
