Create and support control system CAD drawings using AutoCAD.

Tasks

-Understand the scope of work assigned to you, identify when issues arise that are beyond that scope, and communicate those issues to the assigned project lead. -Detect problems in a timely manner. -Be a self-starter, and spend the extra time and energy required to develop the skill set necessary to advance career. -Go the extra mile for your customer, take ownership of their needs, over communicate. Drive customer success. -Maintain professional relations with co-workers, offer assistance to co-workers, when possible, ask for help and guidance from co-workers when necessary, and always treat co-workers with respect. -Actively seek knowledge from senior design team members. -Communicate in an effective, positive, and proactive manner with customers, when required. -Foster an environment of integrity, trust, collaboration, professionalism, serving one another, leading by example, and assuming good intent each and every day. -Develop basic understanding of Information Technology (IT) system, network infrastructure, and computer system design, as it relates to control system integration. -Complete assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and under budget. -Maintain open and direct communication with all design team members. -Ensures that all team members have the information they need to work together effectively. -Explore outside sources for potential solutions to problems.

What You Bring

-Fit for Duty at all times -As required, expected to be 0-5%. -Demonstrate the ability to develop control system drawing packages under the direction of senior designers. -Expert with internal tools and able to troubleshoot issues. -Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Office tools. -Use logic, intuition and experience to find appropriate solutions to problems. -Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required. -Exhibit proficiency in the use of Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) tools. -Maintain a valid driver's license. -Demonstrate the ability to proof-read self-generated documentation. -Communicates effectively across all mediums. -Ability to work alone effectively. -Proven Track Record: 2+ years as Control Systems CAD Operator or equivalent. -Associate degree in drafting, or other pertinent curriculum combined with relevant technical experience. -Typically, 2-5 years of experience.
