The Role

Overview

Conduct risk‑based audits and report findings to senior management within Aggreko Finance Centre of Excellence.

Tasks

-Plan and execute risk-based audits covering financial, operational, technology and commercial areas in line with the Group Internal Audit Plan and on an ad hoc basis as required, including special investigations. -Undertake projects to identify and implement best practices within internal audit and related assurance activities. Actively contribute to wider internal audit functional targets. -Follow-up and reporting of internal audit actions, liaising with the business to ensure timely updates for senior management and Audit Committee reporting. -Prepare clear, concise audit reports for management, communicating findings and recommendations. -Contribute to the identification and communication of best practices within the Group.

What You Bring

-The ability to work autonomously, take ownership of assignments and prioritise effectively. -Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA, or equivalent). -Meticulous attention to detail and strives for accuracy and excellence in all tasks. -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an ability to identify risks, control weaknesses and irregularities and to recommend improvements. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly and effectively convey audit findings and recommendations and influence stakeholders at all levels. -Have experience in internal audit, assurance, compliance or process re-engineering.
