Tasks

-Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned by management. -Process incoming vendor and client invoices, as well as cash receipts, in Deltek Vision on a daily basis. -Provide monthly reporting on bookings, backlog, revenue, profit, etc. -Provide day-to-day support for Deltek Vision, including the ability to create custom reports. -Review and approve timesheets and expense reports on a weekly basis to meet posting timelines, informing Finance and Accounting when expense reports are ready. -Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. -Reconcile general ledger accounts for the Profit Center in preparation for month-end close to meet deadlines. -Set up and review projects for accuracy in Vision for Revenue Generation in partnership with the Director of Finance and Accounting. -Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. -Support in managing and monitoring all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with US GAAP standards. -Responsible for monthly closing and meeting deadlines, and coordination and coordination with staff to ensure a timely close. -Establish and ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. -Assist with external and internal audits, providing necessary supporting documentation. -Process outgoing client invoices in Deltek Vision in a timely manner. -Maintain GL support schedules and verify all routine journal entries (JEs). -Transfer funds to the Wilson account daily. -Research and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.

-Ability to foster an environment of efficiency, accuracy, collaboration, and open communication -Experience directly managing an accounting or finance team -Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software. -CPA license (preferred) -Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. -Strong communication both written and verbal -Excellent organizational and time management skills. -Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. -Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master in Accounting (preferred) -5+ years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager -Excellent management and supervisory skills. -Deltek ERP experience (preferred)
